1.Bearing quality
First, check whether the lubricating grease has deteriorated, agglomerated, impurities and other undesirable conditions. This is an important basis for determining the cause of bearing damage. Secondly, check whether the bearing is bitten and worn; check the surface smoothness of the inner and outer rings of the bearing, rolling elements, and cages, as well as whether there are cracks, rust, peeling, pits, overheating discoloration and other defects, and measure whether the bearing clearance exceeds the standard; check Check whether the shaft sleeve is worn, pitted, or peeling. If there are any of the above conditions, replace the bearing with a new one.

2. Bearing coordination
When installing a bearing, the fit between the inner diameter of the bearing and the shaft, and the outer diameter and the shell is very important. When the fit is too loose, relative sliding will occur on the mating surface, which is called creep. Once creep occurs, it will wear the mating surface and damage the shaft or housing, and the wear powder will invade the inside of the bearing, causing heat, vibration and damage. When the interference is too large, it will cause the outer diameter of the outer ring to become smaller or the inner diameter of the inner ring to become larger, reducing the internal clearance of the bearing. In order to select a bearing suitable for the application, various factors such as the nature and size of the bearing load, temperature conditions, and the rotation state of the inner ring and outer ring must be considered.

3. Adjustment of bearing clearance
If the bearing clearance is too small, the shear friction loss of the grease in the gap will be too large, which will also cause the bearing to heat up. At the same time, if the clearance is too small, the amount of oil will decrease and there will be no time to take away the heat generated by friction, which will further increase the temperature rise of the bearing. . However, excessive clearance will change the dynamic characteristics of the bearing and cause unstable operation of the rotor. Therefore, it is necessary to select verified bearing clearances for different equipment and usage conditions.
